Hokay. so, here is my question.

I'm half entertaining the idea of debadging the back of the car. I see it done on other cars and it just makes them look cleaner in my mind. That being said, this is a volvo, not a cobalt, and I have nothing to be ashamed of lol. Has anyone done this to theirs? does it look okay, retarded, or kinda sharp?
(also, if anyone knows how they are stuck to the car/how to get them off without damaging the paint...that would be helpful.)

As I said, it's just minor contemplation, just something I can do to the car while I cant actually AFFORD to do anything...my own fault, I need to NOT get stressed out about stupid stuff and go on a spending spree...Either way, comments and opinions are very welcome.

i personally like the debadged look, only thing is what color is it? my buddy debadged his Black spec-v sentra after owning it for a while and you can see that the paint has faded a bit and is darker where the symbol used to be and it looks kinda funny in some light. That would be my only reservation towards debadging a car, as far as i know its just tar like glue which should come off with dental floss and a hair dryer...

I de-badged my 740, in my mind it looks good although I confuse a lot of people about what make of car it is. With the different headlights I have been asked if it is a Mercedes, Bentley, or just "what the hell is this thing?"

My badges were on for 16 years before I took them off, no paint fade on a black car

she is red. lol, that's kinda my hope, that the lil ricer kiddies look over at my car and go "woah what the hell is that?" and then I get to tell them it's a volvo and see their stunned expressions

He does, pretty much all summer. This summer especially, since we didn't get it running 'till about this time last year.

Most everyone here knows my 240 is a 240 from a distance of about 10 miles, even if the badges fell off :lol:

So yeah, do whatever you want. Depending on color the paint may be fairly faded.
