I can honestly say there is no carbon left in my cylinders :D

I witnessed it coming out of your tail pipe on more than one occasion. =D>

That's what happens when your tripple-digit sightseeing! I was very surprised how solid the 122 felt at that speed!

Can't wait to see Darrens photo set!

What a superb day! I had an absolute blast; it was a great trip down (and back) - covered a very relaxing 1056 KMs! The scenery was lovely and the roads were awesome; much nicer than the straights we've got up here! It was nice to meet some new guys from the forum but I'll be damned if I can match them all to their username... !

Thanks for a good one, everybody!

I'm still working on some photos but here's a couple of the best ones;

Thanks for making the long trip down Darren, it was great to meet you.
Awesome pictures, and the saying is right "black cars DO look better in the shade"

It was a great time...

Really nice to meet you guys n gals in person. The conditions couldn't have been better for the drive, but less wind for when we were taking pictures.

I hope to frequent these get togethers more frequently, as this was worth it in every sense.

Thanks to all who helped aid in resolving my extremely lean conditions, funny how a car runs (won't) when the fuel being pumped only makes it as far as inside its own tank... Thanks for stopping lending a hand, and priceless experience... (Thanks again to Matt, Roberta, and Darren)

Ahmad, thank you very much for lunch! I'm not much help on the side of the road but I know what it's like to be 'stranded'. :( It worked out pretty good though!!

I hope you guys don't mind but I put my pictures up on the Edmonton website in hope it'll entice more guys to head South in the future.

Clickity click for pictures!

Yes, great shots, Darren! I really like the one of us crowded around the 122 in the shade at the interpretive center. There's even a picture where you captured the evidence of Ian's awful gas mileage! That barn belongs to my (actually Roberta's) aunt's family. It's amazing how many people are familiar with or comment on it!

It was the least I could do for your guys' kind assistance, and waiting on the side of the road with me. I'm glad it was an easy fix or else it would have absolutely ruined the day (mine at least)...

Anyways, great pics and thanks for sharing.

Well like I said at the time, it isn't Top Gear and there's no Robin Reliant or any other humiliating car following along to pick up the stranded.

It's just funny how I thought "I'd better pack my tools" that morning, and "I'd better stay in the rear of this pack" on that leg of the cruise. Good thing I wasn't lugging around an extra 70 lbs for nothing!
