Just curious how many Lethbians et al are going and are we meeting and traveling up together or just meeting in Nanton at 10:00??

No plan as of yet - we're going to be there but I think planning to drive to Nanton together won't work from my end. We'll meet there.

Just to clarify this is open to all "Calgary Volvo Club Members", even those with newer FWD Volvos???

If so I will be at Ikea @845am, Sunday October 17th.

Will be nice to participate in a Volvo get-together...

REAR WHEEL DRIVE ONLY!!!! :P

The name of the group is Calgary Volvo Club, generally if there is a V, O, or L in the name no one's going to complain.

Looks like the weather will be cool but clear!

Absolutely, we have no TB/VS/SS biases here, if it says Volvo bring it. :D

Weather looks good and I am really looking forward to a "spirited" drive and seeing everyone tomorrow.
Wondering what the consensus is for lunch, are we going to find a warm diner in the Crowsnest area or ...
Tough it out with a bag lunch???

I'm looking forward to the trip tomorrow! It looks like I'll be the only Volvo making the meet from Edmonton though. :(

Any chance someone could PM me their number encase anything freakish happens en route? Thanks.

Edit - Thanks Volvord! ^

I understand there is a little joint in Coleman called the Crowsnest Cafe that does home made sandwiches and stuff. Might be worth a look...

It was nice there today...spent the day fly fishing on the Crowsnest River with a buddy... :D

See you boys around nine.

I was planning to ditch my ultimate league for the drive but we are now short at the last minute so i'll have to play. I'll probably head to Nanton, over the pass with y'all then loop back for my noon game.

For those that didn't get to come on the cruise - here are some pictures. Thanks to Ian for once again coming up with a great drive. Considering this is the first time I've had the 122 running since August, things went well as we exchanged KPH for MPH on the Nanton to Chain Lakes leg of the cruise.

Great views.

Great shots Craig, thanks for sharing. That was fun, a great day despite the breeze, was nice to meet all of you in person that I hadn't met before. =D>

Yup, great fun, a beautiful day, and terriffic scenery! A great turnout too, thanks to all who showed up!

And a special thanks to Raz who saved the day without knowing it (gave me something a couple of years ago that came in handy today).

Great day. Big shout out to Darren who, by the time he gets home, will have driven over 1000km today.. I thought my two trips to the Crowsnest in one weekend was a bit silly...

Thanks to everyone for coming. Great to meet some new people. Great to see some old people . I've got a bunch of pictures but doubt there are any that are much different from what Craig just posted except I have a shot of him after attempting a one-arm push-up... I'll post that one as soon as it gets uploaded to Photobucket.

Here it is...

Sorry I had to jam out early, but glad I made it as far as I did. Also very glad to see you got the casualty sorted out!
