I see a set of 215 55 R16 snow trires on kijiji does anyone know if they will fit the S40, they were on an S80????

They will be slightly taller than what you have so no speedo issue, but they are wider than what you have now. Personally I would try and stay the same or narrower for winter tires. The rims should be correct offset and for bolt number and diameter, not sure about the hub size though. I think the hub size may be bigger than yours so you could theoretically use these with hub rings and live with the extra width, although my .02 is to keep looking.

Edit: Check out this ad http://alberta.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicle ... 251413583#. Appear to be FWD offset in Calgary and $200 for 16" rims and hub caps is reasonable, then you can go and get your own 205/55-16 tires mounted instead of trusting someone else's used crap.

I thought about posting that as well, but if they are from an 02 they should be 4 bolt not "5 pin" whatever that means?? Might also only be 15" which won't fit an 06 as well.

How hard is it to delete your ad when the item sells? It's really inconsiderate of people to waste others time leaving up their dead ads.

What was your budget again? I was looking at tirerack.com and you could get 16" alloys with 205/55-16 Altimax Arctic's installed and balanced for $680 + shipping.
