So picked up a set of 240 e-codes on TB for the 90 and they arrived today. Good news is the lenses are near perfect, no chips/cracks and maybe only a pit or two. My happiness was tempered by a clunking sound from the package which didn't make me too keen to open the box. Fortunately nothing is broken although both reflectors are loose and flopping around in the housings.

Having never worked with e-codes before I can see where the plastic adjuster nuts have pulled through the openings on the reflectors hence the free floating reflectors. Other than looking in through the lenses I can't tell if the plastic nuts are useable. Is this something that could have happened in transit? Regardless is it as simple as taking off the lenses and re-threading them on the adjuster rods?

Edit: Post #666, hopefully not a sign of things to come...

The reflectors are held in place by plastic ball/socket thingies. Take the clips off the lens and carefully pry the lens off. Then you should be able to see where the sockets are and can push the balls back into them. The e-codes for my 960 had the same thing happen to them as did the single e-code I bought off eBay from a guy in Finland. One of the 960 ecodes actually had a broken socket so I jb welded the ball in place. I figured it would move enough to make whatever adjustment I needed to make.

Thanks Dale, that's good to know, it didn't look too ominous just scared me a bit having the reflectors rattling around in there.

Yup, same thing happened to me with my ecodes when they arrived.
