Well guys, i noticed the car was defrosting like crap today,

of course it's got a new blower motor in there and a pretty new cooling system, however as soon as i got the car to about 2000rpms the fan like increased to "normal speed"

and every once in a while when i'd stop at a light it'd drop back to near nothing....

i'm assuming this is an electrical/charging issue, so i'll hook up a voltmeter and have a look-see at it tomorrow, but could it be anything else i'm missing?

anything quirky with these cars?

may also explain the intermittent idle issue i seem to be having where it randomly decided to stumble/hunt on idle when warm for a couple seconds/hours randomly.

Sounds like a charging issue to me. I never had any weird heater issues with either of my 960s other than at moderate to full throttle the it would switch from vent to floor and blow heat. I understand that's pretty common with those cars...

went out to plug it in and pulled the codes this morning,

got 5-1-1 which i guess is a long-term too rich at idle
and i also got 2-2-3 which is signal missing too/from IAC valve....

nothing that says over/undercharging, BUT there is a bunch of new corrosion on my battery terminal.... soo when it gets a little warmer today i'll hook up the multimeter and see.
