Started on the front bushing swap to poly and discovered I ordered the wrong bushings for the sway bar. :( I scavenged the sway bars off of my 85 244ti parts car and ASSumed (sure that I had read this somewhere) that the turbos all had 23/21 sways, just measured them and they are both 21 mm!! So now I have a 21 mm bar and a 23 mm bushing kit. Obvious lesson learned, measure twice, order once.

Does anyone have a 23 mm take-off they want to sell, I am thinking this would be the better way to go rather than waiting on shipping for a 21 mm bushing kit and having the smaller front bar. Thought's, and or 23 mm bars for sale???

That's really strange, someone must have pirated the 23 from the front. There's a 240t at PNP, and I have an AC compressor to return, so I might be able to snag it for you Saturday, possibly.

That 240t has no sway bars on it...

I have another possible solution. I've got a pair of 19mm 240 swaybar bushings. I'm sure they could be reamed out 2mm or maybe even used as is on a 21mm bar...

That's why I never measured it beforehand, everything I ever read said 23/21 for the turbo's. Also can't figure out where a 21 mm front bar came from?

hmm..., kind of would like to have the 23/21 combo, otherwise I'm no further ahead handling wise than original except slightly bigger. Figures that the sways are gone off of the PnP car. :(
