Wow, quiet site lately!

Anyone have any tips on fixing the windshield trim on the 940? I'm not sure why Volvo used the metal trim still when they switched to the integrated rubber trim on the 240s.

After replacing my windshield this summer the trim won't stay on, but mostly it looks like crap because it's all rusty.

Anyone got any tips for replacing it? I think it's over $100 for new, if you can find it. Is there some kind of tape I can replace it with instead?

All I know is that it's a pain in the a$$ to get the trim on with the glass in...I hear it is like a lot of things - it likes lots of lube and a careful hand

And don't look at my rear glass accident with the oil pan - it will make you cry.
