Hey Derek - I haven't looked at 850s in Calgary personally, but there are a few around. We bought Roberta's from the 'States, and I think we saved a bundle but there was a little bit of hassle and of course the hassle of dealing with a US seller.

you have a 900 series?

i prefer the look and handling of the 850s better, as well as the interior. especially after driving jordan's step mom's 850 once....it sold me!!

But... isn't the 850 completely and utterly wrong wheel drive?

i know...and it sucks. i'd prefer an rwd, but 850s are so hot. trust me, you can't change my mind.

didn't they make rwd 850s?

they sure didn't

i like the 850...but not for anything other than a daily driver...even then...it would be iffy...

but i still like them

They did make an 850 AWD with a 5spd in 1997. I drove the only one in London, Ontario when it first arrived at the stealership!

Here's a good looking deal (not good looking colour, but sleeper): http://www.canadatrader.com/result/deta ... no=1&srt=1

Better looking, higher miles, older:
http://www.canadatrader.com/result/deta ... no=3&srt=1

Hmmm, not much info, could be a deal worth calling:
http://www.canadatrader.com/result/deta ... no=4&srt=1

Here's a wicked wagon, but a weeee bit pricey:
http://www.canadatrader.com/result/deta ... no=3&srt=1

or if you want to be REALLY unique:

didn't they have troubles with the AWD systems in 850s? i read all the threads on 850s after albertabrick's "is an 850 a good choice" thread on TB

that v70's hot, but yeah, too much.

Dont get a AWD, expensive to maintian. At least thats what a tech mentioned.

I will have a sweet 244 for sale in a couple months. It's mint with like 213k on it right now (ok, it has a little surface rust but it comes with both 25mm sways!)
