Hello Everyone,

Looking to upgrade my cooling setup for my 122. I would like to stick with something in the Volvo family. I thought a read somewhere that a 140 series would work. However, I would imagine parts would be hard to find. Does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks,

Or have a shop build you an aluminum one based on my plans.

Yes, I had a monster fan from a Mercedes running the cooling duties. JY find. I was going to build a shroud and install a smaller fan when I decided to pull it all apart. My rad was built by a racing shop in Detroit and is around twice what was needed to cool the engine driving it as hard as I could. Not sure about the Chinese rads, they are the ones that were offered by a rip off artist on TBrix and were being sold by him, then the factory started to offer them up. I don't know how they'll work, but for the price (about 1/2 what mine cost pre shipping and dollar conversion) it's hard to pass up.

Agreed. Will look into fans and shrouding.

Thanks again sir.

Just to tack on, I was going to ask about the same options... the Canuck custom plans, or the ebay option. I might give the ebay option a chance when it comes to cooling. That price is certainly attractive to begin with.
