So, with all my new torques and horsey powers I now find that my 242 is loose as a goose pretty much all the time in this freezing weather. I've got reasonable winter tires on it but it's sliding everywhere. I'm thinking that my installation of the Whiteline lower bushing in the control arm in concert with the heavy rear roll bar is messing things up big style.

Thoughts?

I'm thinking about tossing some money at Ben Kaplan (cause he's so cool) and buying his spherical bushings. Is this stupid?

Yes... :P

Take the rear bar off for the winter. Let the weight transfer to the outside wheel. Less slippy slidey...

I think I'll get a set in the spring...all I've done is double the power to the wheels and it's bloody frightful in a corner. The net effect of having both the stiff bushing and the bar is like having an even bigger bar. Definitely not great.

He puts those bearing on sale through his face book page every once and a while. Doesn't post it to turbobricks. I picked up a set last time. Keep an eye out?

I'll install them all in the spring when I can pull it all apart and powder coat the parts. Should assist at the autoX this spring/summer. Now if I only had an LSD.
