Hi gents.

I'm halfway through wiring the 122 and this car had non functioning windshield squirters. Ive traced old wiring back to wiper switch but I'm not clear on what triggers the washers.

I wondered if it was trigger on pulling back the signal lever but whatever hooks to that function is also MIA. I'm assuming highbeams were on a floor switch. This car had a toggle hanging under the dash for my high beams.

Any clarity would be appreciated!

Highbeams were on the floor switch, flash-to-pass was pulling back on the signal stalk. Washer jets was on the wiper switch - pull it out all the way.

The flash to pass function was not wired in on the North American cars. It's in the harness but does nothing. All you have is the floor dimmer switch. You can strip the wire out of the harness in the engine bay and wire it up to a 240 bistable relay and you'll have flash and high beam operation through the stalk instead of the floor switch. Ron Kwas of swedish embassy has a write up on how to do the wiring.

I just read that article before reading your message. I think I'm going to go that route since I dont have a floor switch either. Plus, the switch is covered by my beautiful shag carpet #-o
