Trail of the gnu looks AWESOME

who is going? who wants to? Who is useless and doesn't want to come?

I WILL race the tercel if I have nothing else, and I will do it alone with a blow up doll next to me if nobody will copilot (copilot, kind of required)

I might be interested in this. I haven't done one in years. My dad and I used to do this when I was 15...with his explorer. Damn it was fun. I'll be able to confirm if I can go once I'm back in school and have a better idea of my workload.

If it's around Rocky, I've driven the road. By the pictures it looks like the road that runs along North Prairie Creek...I believe it's called the North Fork Road. Runs about 60km from the highway to the Forestry Trunk Road... Good drive...a little tough in places...

I've spent a few weekends driving the roads around Rocky. It's amazing what lengths an avid fly fisherman will go to, to find that perfect spot... I know a few roads down south too...

You want a fun drive? Try the Chungo Creek Road. About 15km of nothing but up and down and sharp curves. Oh yeah, it's gravel too and about 1 1/2 lanes wide. There's another road that goes up to a wellhead to the west that is perfect. It's twisty turny too but is sand, not gravel... Did some serious drifting in the 245 up there a couple of years ago... For that matter, the Forestry Trunk Road south of Nordegg can be some serious fun although there is a fair amount of traffic in the summer time...

"I've been everywhere man..." 8)
