Yikes...I haven't posted to this thread in a while. I'm still waiting on suspension parts. My brother is machining them and I'm going to guess that he's busy and from experience, pestering makes him move more slowly.

Anyway, I made the hood trim because I lost mine. Matt sent me a few pictures and this happened.

Sorry about the weight...clearly there is a part 1 and 2 as well...three or five months later there are grills that are done.
I'm still working on the little things that kill most projects. Next up...how do we have hoods and trunks held open when some idiot made them so light that the stock spring force will smash your chin if you unlatch them (if you could latch them in the first case...looking at you hood).

With the hinges fixed so they would work...they then need to go up and down and the torsion springs are way too powerful for the carbon fibre trunk. I worked out how to add a set of gas springs.
