Mazdarati! They're in pretty good shape, a bit of wear on the drivers side, but quite comfy and I think they won't look too strange in my 242 (grey/black interior). Fitting might be interesting, I think welding new mounting bolts to the floor might be easiest, but I'll have to see how the test fit goes.

Figured I couldn't go wrong for $40 for the pair. The drivers has adjustable lumbar and quick up/down adjustment and the passenger has a funky speaker under the seat. We'll see if I can figure out how the 8pin wiring harness works...

Stay away from welding bolts for the mounting. Use a backer plate and drill right through the floor and bolt through. The last thing you want is the seat bracket to break in an accident. Also the car may not pass tech inspection if they see non-stock seats welded to the floorpan

Thanks for the tip Ian. Have to see what makes sense when i've got everything ready to fit.

They're out of a second(?) gen 626/mx-6, the ~86-91ish era.

the mx6 did have a leather option, however very rare, and I don't even know if it came to Canada ... but keep your eyes open :)
