A thing of beauty! I rode an ETS a while back...its like floating on a cloud. So smooth. Congrats. The 50 is even sweeter with the team colours. Nice.

Thanks guys! :D

We will have to organize a biking weekend meeting! (I don't mind going to Calgary, haven't been there for a while and did the trails around Jasper/Hinton a zillion times)

I've only been on my bike once this summer:( That's what happens with moves and renovations. I'd be down for meeting up in Banff or something for a day ride. Have to be the 13/14 or 27/28 weekends of september though. Maybe to overlap with the part swap Paul is planning?

A saturday would be good for me.

Meh, it's just for fun, not a competition. I always bike for pleasure. Don't worry.

Just find us a good place to go. 8) (I don't do stunts :P )

I have an old (like really old...) Gary Fisher pre-aluminum frame hard tail, hacking-around bike... I bike to work (55-ish min trip) every Friday, missed 3, maybe 4 since frost.
I recently changed it from approx 1.95 tires to approx 1.5 tires of a slicker design (well half done... Man, does that look bad  ). Seemed like it was never going to be a serious off-road bike by current standards, and I was never going to load up and leave the city to ride. The tire change allowed me to go one gear up and still have less pedal force required. I've always been a conservative rider as far as potholes and curbs, so I don't see an issue.

Hehe! When I crosse the railway in Jasper with my bike, the ride is smoother than in my car!

So, can we plan something for the 13 or the 27?

I think Paul is planning his meet for the last saturday, maybe we could try a ride on the sunday, then you can keep going home from there.
