Beautiful day for a drive. Too bad we didn't have a better turn-out

Hopefully we'll see more people out at the BBQ Wednesday night...

Finally made it home! Image

It was great and the weather was on our side. 8) Thanks everyone and a special thanks to Dale and his wife (I should learn her name and remember it someday! )

But I should stop going to see you, I feel bad every time! After having some fun with some friends, I felt miserable and lonely as I went home all alone... Image I really need a girlfriend!

And after that, I felt cheap that I didn't offer the ice cream for everyone. I'm not so cheap, specially for something like that. It's not as if I offered to pay for Ian's gas! So I felt bad for a good part of the afternoon. Oh well, I'll think about it next time.

As for my ride back, going to Rocky Mountain House was a pain in the ass, lot of traffic and boooooooooring road. Going to Nordegg was better, no traffic, but still boooooooooring. But the lake/reservoir is really nice and god I was happy to arrive in the Mountains!

Always happy to have you Steph. My wife's name is Beth... :)

Glad you made it safely. Highway 22 can be busy between Bragg Creek and Cochrane but the traffic usually thins out past Sundre. I quite enjoy that drive between Cochrane and Rocky Mountain House.

Abraham Lake is pretty spectacular on a clear sunny day. I had no idea it was as big as it is until I drove past it this summer...

Steph DO NOT feel cheap. it was great that you could make it and I was so impressed that you drove so far for such a short drive.

Since this is probably the last group drive, re: cruise, for the year I sure had fun... looking forward to many more outings next year.

Will see most of you on Wednesday night at Dale's

Thanks again all, it was a fun day

thanks for the awesome cruise guys its was nice to get the GT out for a bit. I'll post my pics later on tonight when i pop over to the gf's (the pictures are on her camera). It was some pretty good weather, and nice to meet ya finally steph. As for my little burning oil issue, i popped her up when i got home and changed the oil and didnt notice any burning oil after that, i think the oil got kinda pooched with all the flooding when i was trying to get her running properly, anyways hope that fixes it and I'll see you guys tommorrow at Dales i guess it is now?

Oh, by the way!

Victor, you'll have to copy 100 times: I will not bring shame on my fellow turbobrickers by driving recklessly in the wrong lane. The first time, it's my fault. I didn't see the bike ahead of John and though that you would pass us both. But the second time, specially for what you gained... Image

John, it was nice to meet you too and Jan (Jen) as well.

Don't be impress Ian, (almost ) any excuse is good to go to cruise in the mountains and/or to go to meet some friends. I always feel better after that! :D

Who's using their car during winter?

leaving bragg creek you mean? passing that SUV going 60 clicks on a highway, yeah, sorry but that isn't what i would call reckless driving, i passed that SUV fine...the truck in the opposite lane freaked for no reason

ciao
