On Saturday, Craig and I headed out to the local PYP for the final day of their magnificent all you can carry day. Lemme tell you it was good.
(I still haven't figured how to post pics....sorry)

Craig was most generous in offering to come help pillage an '87 240, despite the snow and cold. (He's from Brandon, so he's pretty tough) While he did get a couple mercury trunk and hood lights for the Canuck, I came away with everything in the photo, for $40. We initially thought it might not be doable in one trip, but Craig again came through. I loaded him up, using the rad as a sort of tray, and then balanced both the bumpers on his one shoulder. Sketchy, but for $40 it was pretty sweet! Thanks Craig!

Here's what we got:
-two '86+bumpers and shocks...rear mint, front nearly mint, including air dam and sweet report a poacher plate. Score.
-nearly new rad (2004 date on it) + mint shroud
-b230 intake with injectors, TB, and all wiring
-good battery tray
-spare wheel cover with tool pouch
-reman-ed Bosch alternator...looks pretty, with better adjustable bracket
-some other bits...sensors, and Craigs lights.

Late lunch was had. Projects were discussed. A good day.
Greg

Someone mentioned the hood idea, but the rules of the game were that we had to walk the parts through the shack...or stagger in my case. I wonder if I could haul a 240 rear end with brakes etc the next time??
