Needs some more suspension work this winter, one strut is getting weak.

That might be the time to do it.

Great shots, thanks for sharing. I'll be posting soon on how to recondition and dye leather seats (I've got a kit on the way for my 264 seats)...if you're interested, I'll keep you posted.

Definitely interested! I've tried standard leather treatment and it doesn't seem to do much. The seats don't have any tears, but the leather is cracking, and the back seat is badly faded. If you find something that works let me know.

I like the colour...reminds me slightly but not really of the ol 79 ...240gl i think it was....my family had from before i was born until about 2000, when my sister blew out the clutch and my parents decided the original Vivian Volvo was to be put down (she was rusting out and not worth the $800 for a new clutch). dang was I pissed, I really wanted to learn how to drive in that car. (and yes, for anyone doing math in your heads, I didn't start driving until I was almost 18 )
