I've finally produced the video of my racing school at Race City.

Not much to say - the original is much better quality (so the windshield wiper looks even better  ). My first video production.

Hi Craig -

That looks like fun alright. Was the camera mounted, or did you have a cameraman? It was funny to hear you shouting etc... if you were alone, but I'll be I would have been doing more. That's one for the "bucket-list".

I like to think that I was that fast... buddy was talking up the car a lot ("It's basically a track car, have to run it on race gas, lots of modifications, 425 WHP, but then the Brembo's were over heating and he was short shifting it to stay out of the boost - meh).

I've got the session recorded up to the finish and at the exit you can see I'm right behind him. I figure he only got about 1/4 of the track ahead of me in 10 minutes. Sure he'd blow by me on the main straight - I was faster in the corners. He's not really driving the line. My race instructor guy just kept pushing me deeper and deeper into the corner as he was evaluating what the car would do. It was so much fun to have a race driver looking over and say...wow, next time you're doing that corner flat out in third or brake later etc. I was pushing harder in the afternoon and as I got better. Still could have gone a little harder I think - got as close to the limit as I could without spinning off. What doesn't show is how hard I'm working the wheel etc...and I was alone with the camera (a little bitty thing on the windshield) and I do yell at people on the track. When you get held up, it really is annoying. The guy in the turbo Miata got a waved blue flag as he was holding me up everywhere but I didn't have the power to get past him on the straight.
