Hi Guys:

One of my buddies is selling his metallic blue 245. Looks to be in excellent shape. Includes Virgos and winter wheels I believe. All belts (including timing belt) and accessible seals replaced on the engine in the fall. New CD player installed at the same time. Just under 300K on the vehicle but certainly not abused. I was hoping to get it for myself but the timing is not right for me.

E-mail me at gasbrick (at) telus (dot) net if interested.

Richard

Tell me it's not a 5 spd too. Good(?) thing I already have 3 cars (one more than I have room for) or I might be dipping into the line of credit...

Somebody buy it and drop a turbo motor in there, what a sleeper!

It's an automatic... But you can always swap. I wanted it for my B23+T and Getrag.

Lol, the emoticon was for you mentioning something completely unrelated to the thread right out of the blue :)

12 bucks an hour sucks :(

Strange things happen....

I got this call Wednesday afternoon from a lady here in Calgary who is an acquaintance of my sister-in-law in Edmonton. I had been recommended as a car "dowser" 8) . She went on to tell me her beloved Toyota Camry wagon had been stolen a couple of weeks ago and the insurance company had just offered her a settlement so she needed a car...quickly. Strangely enough, at that point we hadn't even talked about different makes. Through the course of conversation, I find out she's owned a number of different Volvos, including a 122s, and would love to get another wagon...

The rest is history...she's now the proud owner of this car :D .

I pointed her in the direction of this board as well. Everyone welcome Bernice to the renewed state of Volvo ownership :D

Welcome Bernice!

Glad it worked out! Kris (the previous owner) as well as the owner before him took care of the car. It's nice to know someone who appreciates Volvos will continue to care for it.
