does anyone have a decent early 740 hood? mine needs new paint but i dont really want to paint it so if there is a black or grey one kicking around let me know.

thanks i appreciate it. I am going to paint the hood eventually its just the paint on my current hood is so far gone that it would need to be completely stripped for anything new to stick to it.

let us know if that black one went to the scrap yard or is it stil for sale

Ben, there is a silver hood on an '87 740. It looks to be in good shape, just some pitting and chips on the front that are starting to rust and will need touching up. It's dirty, but the paint looks to be ok.
