Hmmmm, maybe we can work something out. I have a worked over rebuilt head on the car right now. The block may or may not be salvagable, but the head is great, and you could probably get the squirters and use them in a different block. If i got sol's motor, i'll just swap it in as is, then we could work something out for my motor.

Update: a buddy & i might be coming down to Calgary in the next little while to pick up a car from Raz.

I should be able to load up and deliver parts to y'all for a small fee.

I'm partial to sending the motor to porvolvo since he came to me first...however it would be awesome if you guys could work something out. We are a community! :D

so far:

porvolvo wants:
-motor
-turbo
-rad fan, relay etc.

Swedishmeatball wants:
-IC
-Rad
-Door cards?

Nope, don't need the IC, but rad for sure!

Damn, I guess you must have PM'd him first! Oh well. If you're doing a complete rebuild what's wrong with a junkyard block (or mine, if it checks out ok)?

Could you take a pic of the worst door card for me? So I can make sure it's going to work and save you the effort of pulling them if theres a problem.

Would you be interested in shipping those wheels to me COD via Purolator, UPS or whatever. Just have to bag em and tag em. I've been waiting for a reply on my request for wheels thread. There have been a couple of messages but when I go there they were removed by sender before I got the message. You can email me at khporter@telus.net if you'd rather contact me that way. I would like to get my winter tires off my car but would rather leave them on the stock wheels and buy a set of tires for the BBS's. RSVP ASAP, thank you. Keith

Hi Keith, didnt i send you a PM about this?
I haven't been able to get to talk to purolator or UPS yet, as i've had a rough week (bent a valve in the 940, broke the rear windshield on my sister's forester #-o ). I will get back to you within the next couple of days. sorry for the delay

I have always found Sol to be a standup kinda guy. Did it ever occur to you to send him a PM first to discuss the situation before publicly outing him on the board??
