Thanks for all the info guys! Where is the best place to pick up a new valve cover gasket? Is there anything else I should get for a cam swap? Do I really need to replace the timing belt?

Places like FCP Groton will sell you the correct gasket (so will your neighbourhood NAPA) - Please change the timing belt and tensioner and do the water pump while you're in there. You can thank me later  .

What he said, what's a timing belt about $13??? You'll have it all apart at that point anyway so it's the cheapest replacement you can do, not to mention you're set for the next 80K.
