Anyone here have a set of 93 cams from an 850 GLT NA they want to sell?
Part# 3547601 PGE - Exhaust 3547600 PGI - Intake
Just about to pull the trigger on a set from the Excited States but would see if there is any available locally.
Pick n Pull has a 96 850 that I liberated the throttle body from but it was way too cold to pull the intake manifold from.

I've got a complete 93' 850 GLT for parts here in Regina (timing belt snapped) Currently stored in a buddies compound, so accessibility sucks - but might be worth doing if you needed other parts...

I knew that the 93 cams were sought after, as is the throttle body - but any idea what the gains are? (Curious if they'd work in my 00' V70R...)

The general consensus is 10-12 hp over turbo cams. The TB is also sought after but the butterfly has a funky growth on it. Replace it with one from a 960 (and FWIW the Pick n Pull inventory is showing a 960 in stock but I couldn't find it).
If you don't use the cams LMK as I want and am in no hurry.

I seriously doubt I'll use the cams... :)

Like so many here I have SO projects, but at the same point - unlike so many here my projects are all Peugeot's. The Volvo are our reliable DD drivers, wiith primary duty being my wife's car. Serious overkill already with stock power levels, so my only real modifications I had planned was to install the newer R manilfold, ARD billet compressor wheel when I rebuild the TD04HL-19T, ARD TCV, and then have ARD reflash the ECU to improve drivability. Currently the car has a Snabb intake pipe from air box to turbo and holy crap does the induction noise sound insane when you get on it...

I'm basically hoping to recoup the overall costs I have into the 850 before crushing it. Sadly I came across a minty 93 850 with a blown tranny for $500 but I couldn't find the cash or the time to do anything with it... I was hoping I could wait him out until the price dropped - but a wrecker bought it... :(

Apologies for the delay in responding - I don't appear to be getting e-mails notifications on topics I've posted too.

Well just keep me up to date if you are able to get them out as I am in no real rush.

Close it up-picked up a set from Pick n Pull. Fresh arrival-I keep checking inventory and saw one arrive yesterday.
A little ham fisted junkyard guerrilla tactics required though.

Ah, not just the timing belt sacrificed itself in my quest.
Hacksaw to the timing sensor cover due to two stripped Torx bolts.
Busted the cover to boot.
Busted timing belt cover.
But made a new friend Mark who helped me kill the poor 850!

No worries at all Ian - glad you found them local!

If my car was nicer I'd think about a motor swap, but it's not so I'll see what I can get out of it for parts come spring before it gets recycled.
