Remember Stan? The guy who appeared here looking for all sorts of answers and when we didn't cough up answers in what he thought was a suitable time frame, he called us a bunch of retards, took his ball and went home...

 huh, well who would have thunk that? Based on my online impression of good old Stan I had envisioned a Sawzalled, Ziptied, Duct Taped POS in the finest Tbrix fashion. Kudos to him for putting together a decent car, while behaving in the finest Tbrix fashion.

I know it's likely sacrilege on this forum, but the custom 240 would be the perfect parts car for Matt's 780 Coupe... Especially those BBS LM's... :)

Well, let's not get too carried away. The under hood looks like a colourful mess, the bumpers are tucked, and the trim doesn't sit right….so we might still have full-fledged t-brix fodder here.

True, who knows what it really looks like in person, we've all gone to look at cars that looked good online to find near wrecks in person. The color scheme is fixable though, and i kinda like the tucked bumpers looks better than the original park benches.

Would this be a Ford Mustang 1800ES?? It's kinda weird, but it's growing on me... Definitely not slapped together.

Yup 245 roof, hence the 1800ES reference. How about "Volvord 1800ES"?? Claims to have spent $120K on it...

Truth. I could think of a lot of other cars I would rather buy for $120K...

Still pondering the newer car scenario, specifically a V70 of some type, this 06 VR M just popped up. Higher miles than I'd like, price seems reasonable enough depending on what he claims to have had done lately.

ETA: Hey Greg/Rabin, the guy with the Sonic Blue 00R is back with a new price of $11,500. Looks like he had the other $2xxx worth of work done as the ad states just get in and drive. Helps to be able to say that, but that's getting up there for a car with a rebuilt title.

http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/calg ... nFlag=true

06 VR now down to $10,500. At that price have to think it's got blown struts/shocks or dead/leaking AWD or something??

Oh, and noticed I called the 00R "Sonic" Blue which of course s/b Laser Blue  , still holding out for $11,500

I'd assume nothing about condition until you verify it yourself. Its so much car for $10K its just nuts... Even if it needs new struts or whatever else...

I was asked to post this by a friend - high mileage, and needs a few things...but hard to believe the price of these things.
