Psst, you posted the edit link. People here are generally quite nice but I don't think you want to let them edit your ad for you. :)

I didn't mean you, Jim…but someone else. It's high mileage, but it runs, and only needs a little TLC. I will note that there is a parts car in the Airport PyP that could yield some parts needed to make the C70 a better car. May not be worth it, but I always thought they were cool.

Referring to the original post and ad in this thread, I picked up the header (made by Stahl), valve covers, and a few free odds-n-ends. I was in the Edmonton area this weekend and dropped by Barry's place. My opinion was that he and his wife are extremely nice people, we ended up having a 2 hour visit with them about cars and other general topics. I also got to see his P1800 race car and another project he was working on at the time. I got a lot of advice for my own car as well which I will take to heart when planning out my own upgrades. Once I get some gaskets, etc. for the header, I hope to put it and my Simons exhaust on.

I know - most of us around here are good friends, so there's a lot of "cut and thrust"...I've just never been advised that the folk around here are nice people. I've always thought so.

Good luck with the header...I scored some of the other good stuff he had up for offer.

What a gorgeous 1800! I love the stance (can I use that word here?? :? ).

As an aside, people may want to try the site "searchused.ca". It searches multiple classified sites and returns results based on your search criteria. It works okay... I have used it with some success, but it might be worth a try once in a while.

Thanks for the used search site tip, will have to give it a shot.

Is that 1800ES past saving with that much "visible" rust?

If I could use the disc rear end for my 131, It would be tempting, and sell the rest for parts. But $1500 would be too much for one part. Damn, this has me thinking now.... :o
