Just saw this:

http://www.kijiji.ca/v-engines-and-engi ... nFlag=true

Anyone know who the seller is?

Mods: could we make a sticky out of this thread? Just thinking if people find random Volvos or parts for sale on Kijiji, this could be the place to post them.

Yeah, that's whatshisname surely. The dude who vintage races the yellow & orange 1800. Ian Rankin's buddy. His name slips my mind.

Good find, Greg!

Oh look, here's another one!

By the way, Greg: you're a mod too. I stickied it for ya tho.

Thanks Matt! I'm a mod too? Hooray!!! I don't know if I'm ready for so much power, but I'll do my best.

Yeah, I saw that 780 a while back. Looks pretty sweet. What's a "Bertone" though?

I figured the local community would snap these parts up rather quick. I would have wanted the header for the B18, but I might be out of luck. It's much easier to go with a more local guy rather than shipping anything.

And as for that 240 in North Van... uShip makes everything close! That's how I got my car from Ontario.

^^^ Already got the big xnay on the Van 240, wasn't serious though just need to keep her on her toes.

Still pondering the newer car scenario, specifically a V70 of some type, this 06 VR M just popped up. Higher miles than I'd like, price seems reasonable enough depending on what he claims to have had done lately.

ETA: Hey Greg/Rabin, the guy with the Sonic Blue 00R is back with a new price of $11,500. Looks like he had the other $2xxx worth of work done as the ad states just get in and drive. Helps to be able to say that, but that's getting up there for a car with a rebuilt title.

The grey R looks nice. If its been well maintained, its mighty tempting for that price. Unreal the depreciation on those things. Just wish the interior wasn't tan, but its not too bad I suppose.

I had heard the blue R was still around. Very interesting he saw fit to get all the extra work done. Sheesh!! He's dropped as much as he paid for the car into maintenance on it, which is madness. Still hasn't fixed the broken speaker cover....and likely the battery is still held in with a bungee cord, and the belly pan with bailer twine.....

 uhh, that 00R just got a lot less interesting... Bungee cord, really?? How do people expect to get top dollar for a car with simple shit like that left undone?? Looked at the pics again, notice all of the seatbelt male end dings in the drivers door card, and as you mentioned the smashed speaker cover on the PS. Someone "loved" this car...

Yeah, if that 06 was an Atacama I'd have a hard time resisting. Seeing as he never mentioned anything about the clutch slave or 4C suspension in his $5K worth of mtce., I'm guessing they're going to be due soon at 195K.
