A lot of the work is done for you on mine. What do you want to make it into? That photo is coming up to 5 years old. The car isn't quite as pretty now. Here is a list off the top of my head...
B23ET clone engine- B23 block/crank/rods with B23ET pistons- 9.3:1 c/r
405 head
M46 transmission
New Spec stage 0 clutch...less than 5000 km on the clutch
Lightened flat flywheel with LH2.4 trigger holes drilled into the perimeter
IPD sway bars front and rear
Front lower chassis braces
Cut stock front springs
Some progressive "lowering" springs on the rear that actually are stock height or maybe even higher
Bilstein HD shocks on the rear...less than 5000 km on them
Bilstein Touring front struts- less than 5000 km on them
Genuine Volvo accessory front and rear bumper covers and side skirts- the is the SE kit offered on the '91- I have the rear spoiler too but took it off.
Paint is original except for the front cowl, body kit and rear fender arches
Interior is original
Euro headlights- they're badly cracked but I have replacement lenses.
Brand new battery
It needs some tuning...doesn't like idling when it's cold. I suspect it's the Idle Air Control but never got around to changing it.
It needs an in-tank fuel pump...the inline pump is complaining and that's typically the reason. I have a new one to go in.
The car drives great and has plenty of power. My wife and I drove it to Victoria last September and the only problem we had was the battery died...it was in a Wal-Mart parking lot so I went in and got a new one. No issues since.
The car is not rolling on Pegasus wheels any longer. It currently sits on 16" TSW Blade wheels. It will need tires.
While $2000 won't buy it, I'm not asking the moon either. It's a 1990 Volvo...I'm realistic about that.
