Hey crew. Looks like I blew a seal on the turbo tonight. Anybody have a spare Mitsubishi turbo I could buy, or even borrow while I track down a replacement?

Thanks!

Trevor

I know a guy at work with a brand new WRX-spec TD04, if nothing shows up here.

Make sure you're PVC system is working properly...if the engine gets pressurized, it will blow oil out the turbo seals.

If you can't find one, pick n pull might be a good place to check. I've got a buddy who's pulled a few DSM turbos from there.

All is well again. I found a 16t at the junkyard. Came from a crashed s70 T5 with 220k, feels pretty tight.
Turns out the issue with the old one....the nut at the front of the compressor came off, which allowed the turbine to push back, allowing high pressured oil into the exhaust + a ton of smoke.
Car is up and running happily again :)

Thanks for the replies crew!
