Anyone have any interest in a PRV V6 from a 90' 760? I bought the car for the body, will be taking the engine and tranny out. Just gauging interest at this point before I start pulling it.

If I had the room, I would take it just to have, clean up, and display. I really respect that lump, now that I know what lies inside.

Hey Matt

I did wonder if you would be the first to reply as the PRV guru. Everything I know about them is from your thread. If nobody wants to put into use, that is my plan... Make it into a cool aluminum table or something of the sort!

How many KMs on the motor?

Curiousity more than anything - I have the Peugeot variant in my garage at the moment. (Both even fire injected 2850cc, and Weber carbed odd-fire 2664cc)

If memory serves it's 225kms +/- 5k. It has Volvo service records for most of it's life so I suspect it's in good shape.

What model is your Peugeot version from?

The even-fire injected engine was out of an 88 505 GLX, the carbed odd-fire was out of a Renault 30 TS (38 DGV Weber with electronic ignition). I've got the Renault 3L pots, pistons and crank from Matt's project...

May have to see if Matt has any interest in going over another V6 for me if I ever find a suitable Peugeot to swap it into. (Gave away my '76 504 due to rust and too many other projects - that was the original recipient).

Well the block went on to serve another purpose... Hopefully you would approve Matt!
