Hi, have a very soft spot on the bottom of the crossmember. Need a good replacement, or a quality welder to repair.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Hi, thanks for asking. I'm Calgary based but not near the car right now. I'll get a picture next week. It's basically rusted through around the drain hole, about 3" x 10", right where you might put a floor jack. The vertical flanges up the front and back sides appear to be solid.

Hi, after some delay(life gets in the way) here’s a picture. Cutting out the rot and welding a new bottom on it seems to be the simplest cure.

Any suggestions, comments welcome.

Thanks.
