I figure that they must be stupid common up there. We got a few on 81 GLTs and maybe some 82s, but that is really it. It being in degrees C is not a problem, as it is mostly used right around freezing, which is where it is most needed and a temp that even a fat lazy american can recognise.
If someone has one lying about, that would be cool. A spare bezel/mounting feet would be welcome too. If someone wants to bring one to the winter meet, great...I could probably pay nowish and pick up one then.

on this note, does an intake air temp sensor work for this purpose?

There's a special sensor bolted to the bumper area of 240s for the ambient temp gauge.

I'll look thru my parts stash, James.

I have tons of bezels and feet. I think I've got a couple of senders too but I know Athal was doing some horse-trading and was asking about one.

And, no, they're not terribly common here either. We didn't get that many GLT models...
