Hi,

I have a complete B5234t from my 850 turbo for sale if anybody is interested.

The cylinder head was rebuilt about 15k ago when the head gasket was replaced.

The number 2 rod spun a bearing so one rod is toast but, the crank can be ground to the second undersize on that journal. Cylinders have less than 0.005" or wear. Motor runs fine regardless of the noise!

I have no problem splitting the motor up. I also have a set of injectors, intake manifold and a few other parts.

Let me know.

How much are you looking for it? I could use the block/head/etc as a template for fitting in my 242, and I could use the wiring harness/ECU/etc as well.

How does $350 for the whole lot sound. Will deliver. I have a partial harness. The harness was cut with the long block i bought. I don't have an ecu anymore but the intake mani, fuel rail, fpr and injectors are all good.

Price sounds good - let's talk. I'm probably out tonight but if you can give me a call on Wednesday we can chit-chat, or I can come over & have a look, or something. 287-9848.

Matt, why would you use it as a template? Do you mean you'd mock up first and then rebuild this motor up to the nuts? or?

Pretty much, Raz. I need something to mock up a turbo header, intake manifold, get hoses & other junk figured out, build motor mounts, throttle cable, etc., before I pull the whole thing apart for finishing, painting, and reassembly. I don't really want a GOOD motor sitting around rusting in the meantime. If the head was properly rebuilt & is in good shape, $350 isn't a bad price for a longblock that's already been pulled for me, provided it's fairly complete.

Thanks again, Keith. Whenever you dig out that other stuff, let me know. 998-8441, and I'll swing by to get it.
