I need some pieces for my 740 so I can put it back on the road.

I need an M46 or an M47 with a crossmember, and the front piece of the drive shaft. I would prefere an M47 to avoid all the OD wiring on the M46. I also need a center console.

If anyone has one, please let me know.

Once it warms up I'll have a few more parts I need.

Jordan I should have the front piece of the drive shaft free for the taking... Off an 87 740T if that'll work?

Pretty sure I torched the crossmember out since it was damanged from the donar car.. but I'll take a look. I can bring it whenever I can make the journal trip.

the o/d wiring is like 6 wires, probably alot less hassle than trying to find a decent M47....did NA 740's even come with M47s? I know the turbos sure didn't...

They did, excepting the 16Vs here. Finding an 87+ 740 NA M47 car is like finding a hen's tooth. Such said, I really hate M46s and like M47s alright in a DD.

At Kar-Basher -best named junkyard ever- up here near E-town, there's a nice forest green 740 turbo with an M46, everything's still there (as far as the transmission/linkages go anyhow)

I don't know if that helps, just thought I'd pass that along.
