This is the official 2009 CVC Seasonal Gathering thread

To try and accommodate as many people as we can I decided to book the facility a little later in January

Date: Saturday January 31, 2009
Time: 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm (or 12:00)
Location: Friends Cappuccino Bar & Bake shop (we have the entire place booked, private function)
Address: 45 Edenwold Drive NW
Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&g ... algary,+ab

Menu: Lasagna, salad, garlic toast and dessert

Price: venue is $40 hr so roughly 5 hours = $200 divided by 20 people ($10 ea or $20 a couple),
meal is $12 each.
So about $45 a couple but will adjust based on how many attend.

Beverages: this is a BYOB event, please bring your receipts and you will have to give you bottles to our host who will keep it safe behind the counter. this is required to maintain their liqueur license.

So now everyone let me know who is coming

Aside from her job, I don't see why Roberta and I would miss it.

This is why we'll be collecting money ahead of time. Too many mays make this a shaky proposition. I'll discuss with Ian as to how we'll go about collecting from people. Not picking on you pj, just nipping it in the bud so we know what we're dealing with.

Beth and I will be there...

OK, to make this work we do need some commitment and some money
Either Dale or myself will collect funds, we will charge as if 20 people are attending, if more come we will refund and extra.

Money can either be dropped off at:
- Dale's house (S Calgary)
- Ian's house (N Calgary)
- Ian's office (downtown) or
- PayPal to Dale

Money has to be paid by January 22, 2009
Just drop either Dale (Pylon) or myself (Volvord) a PM to arrange payment.

Thanks all, should be a fun time

I suspect the response will be a little more significant once people settle in after the holidays. If not, we'll have a nice quiet evening if not slightly expensive... :D

Yup, traveling is taking me off line for a couple of weeks...and helping my evil plans for the spring fabrication season. Deirdre is busy with skating, but I'm in if I can stash a couple of dogs with someone for day.

if there the same dog's i meet you can leave them with me no problem.
my big baby would love a doggy day,and my yard is fully enclosed with 6 foot chain link fence,
and a basement with their own individual couch and big screen T.V when they are to tired to play, out side and they just want to chill out.
culligan water bowls and Ox Tails for knawing on.
let me know.
Paul

and my baby girl is fixed so know problems..(why do i feel like a pimp)
after your hospitality it's the least i can do.
P.S by baby i mean 105lbs. NO BITING ALLOWED..
