I don't know what you mean by the ip addy on the left hand side....but I can paste in the workaround. Try closing IE and starting again or flushing your dns cache...
open up the command line and type
ipconfig/flushdns
hit enter


The other thing to try:

start | run | cmd ....'open'
type in: cd c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
type in: edit hosts
then using your mouse, type this line under the local hosts line:
174.136.63.180 turbobricks.com
click file | save
then file | exit
then go to http://turbobricks.com/forums/index.php and you should be able to get to the board/PM's etc.
once this is all fixed, you'll have to just go back and delete that line
