Hey guys,

Oh look, you can never get rid of me forever. I'll pop up when you least expect me.

Anyway, was just wondering if any of the homeowners out here have ever had furnace work done? (I need me a new one).

If anyone has, and has any recommendations of who to go to, or who to avoid...please let me know!

thanks!

I used Central Aire for mine a few years ago. Great service, but probably not the most budget-oriented.

You're probably going to have slim pickin's of the people who'll come out to Acme.

I'm finding that.

I'm not too worried about the budget-ness...it's an investment in the house...and lucky for me the parents have offered to help with it. (yes, I am a spoiled child).

Thanks Matt, I'll give them a call.

Sent who an email? Don't know if it helps much but letting someone you know talk to someone they know might get you a quicker response and a better price. It's called networking

Vista is fine as long as the computer is fast enough to run it, I've been running it for a couple years trouble free.

P.S. good luck with the furnace

Just to clarify...

Beth works at Central Aire. While she may not be able to get you a significant price reduction, she can get you a faster response, assign you their best salesman and get you faster service should something go wrong; quite possibly something you won't get by simply emailing...

And I hope you're sitting down when you get furnace quotes...

I was guessing between 8-10k. Ducts need to be redone too so sayith the guy.

I didn't call cause I really did not have time to be sitting on hold with anyone. hence my love of emails. A call may happen soon once things simmer down a bit (I've other people trying to get a hold of or trying to get a hold of me this morning....and phone tag sucks)

(besides, the email was just a "do you even come out to acme"...cause I've already gotten quite a few HELLS NO responses)

did you call peter? Want me to dig up his email address for you? wait a sec, just give him a call, that's his personal cell so you won't be on hold.
