My wife is awesome, over the years she has supported me as I spent many hours and many more $$$ on my cars, she is now receiving payback.

With the main bathroom renovation complete Joan has hinted that the Master Bathroom is the next project out of the job jar.
To the younger members when your wife hints that means DO IT NOW!!!

So at 7:00 am the work started, here are a few before shots:

Then the work started.
By 1:30 pm the bathroom looked like this:

Today all I have to do is remove the floor & subfloor, remove the exhaust fan, and then fix the two holes in the ceiling.

Full album is on my Facebook page

You're getting pretty good at this Ian...I've got one downstairs that needs attention. Just kidding - I'll take care of that next year (if it doesn't rot on me first!). So how many cars = one bathroom?

Paul, just show youe wife the picture of the demolished bathroom and tell her it is the finished version.
Maybe we can start a new decorating trend, "Nouveau studs and plumbing"

Thanks for the offer James, but someone lent me a bucket which is working really well.

I dunno...I might spring for the funnel. The bucket will get a little ripe after a bit...

The renovation is moving along very well; framing & studding done, electrical rough in finished, plumbing rough in finished and drywall hung (have I said how much I hate drywalling #-o ). anyway taping comes next YUCK, then the tiling starts. Still aiming for an end of May to a "functional bathroom ,,,, may not be finished bathroom but it will be functional

The bathroom is progressing well.
This weekend I grout the tile and then leave it as is until after the summer ... I need a break. Next fall I will continue with building the vanity and tiling the steam shower. The bathroom will be functional with toilet and a temporary vanity.
Here are a few updated picture just before I grout the tile
