Hi Guys,
How many people here is an active member of a local SCCA club like CSCC?

I was looking thru the Gallery. You guys look like serious bunch with mods and stuff. Saw Tha VZA's picture taken by Shawn Biship at RCMP. Looks like the Winter Auto Cross with no snow, and his rally picture in the avatar.

BTW, CSCC is running an Auto Cross tomorrow (Sunday) at RCMP. Anybody going?

I would be, I have run in a few of them, unfortunately life dictates that I cannot attend the next few events until school is finished.

I've been a member since 09, and I mainly participate and volunteer in rally racing. Been to 2 events, 12th overall, and 2nd overall, and I've had a blast doing it! The people at the CSCC are truly amazing! They will do whatever they can to help you to get into auto racing! If you want to know more, check out the website at:

Monthly meetings occur on the first Thursday of every month. Come down to the next meeting if you haven't already, very informative, and an all around positive atmosphere!

That's nice to hear. A friend of mine was a member in the '80s, and was a bit of an odd duck around there. He said that he didn't feel welcome, and he thought it was because he didn't drive the right kind of car, though he volunteered and raced and did his best to interact with them.

I was a member in the mid to late 1970's and into the 1980's when I raced but then other priorities happened #-o
