I'm looking for a good mechanic shop in calgary that is honest and does not charge crazy prices.

I need them to do some engine work on my 240 turbo

Thanks

I concur. Paul, the owner of "Bert & Jack's" is a decent man, who won't take you for a ride. I decided to check him out after a recommendation from another Calgary Volvo Group member. Paul and his mechanics made a correct assessment of the problem with one of my Volvo's and provided the right solution at a reasonable price. After this experience I have no qualms about entrusting both my Volvo's in the future to him and his guys.

To be honest, I've only ever bought a used swaybar off them, so can't say much. I've HEARD of other people getting ripped off, used parts instead of new, that kind of stuff.

Give it a try if you like though. Personally, I'd put a recommendation (or several) over convenience any day.

Or, just get the tools and learn to fix it yourself

to bone stock - We're trying to help here, but have you actually bothered to scroll up and read the entire thread? Also how about trying to use google or mapquest if you're looking for an address i.e. location. Good luck with your endeavors.
