Thanks Greg, was even a little more satisfying starting it up then when I figured out what was wrong with the wagon when I first got it, mostly because the wagon wasn't running before and this car was... #-o

Please DO NOT use Dex Cool. This product DOES cause gasket failure in nylon based gaskets. I have 2 vehicles where this is the factory fill (GM products) and both had or have continuing coolant leak problems until I replaced the coolant with the "green" stuff

I had Dex-Cool issues explained to me once. Apparently its molecular structure is much smaller than standard glycol based antifreeze so it will seep in places where the good old green stuff won't.

I knew I told him to take it back for a reason. I couldn't recall why agent orange is bad and green slime is good, but there you have it.

Returned the Agent Orange (I like that) and picked up the green slime. She's full of green slime and water to -40C and no leaks! Car also runs quieter now that the water pump impeller isn't scraping on the block. :lol:
