Does anyone in the Lethbridge area have a puller for 122 drum i could borrow or a method of removal? I've heard they are a real pain to bang apart.

I don't think anyone has one. I changed my rear end rather than try to pull it apart. Sorry.

I have one somewhere. I think it's in Edmonton with a friend who took my last 544 years ago. Could obtain it, I expect.

Awesome - GT-40 driver John Sadler told me that a rag soaked in gas placed around the hub is useful when a regular puller is all you have. You light the rag with tension on and run like hell. I DON'T recommend this - but race driver guys are "creative" like that.

Appreciate that Paul but I think I've devised a system. I ran five bolts though the back of an old rim then tied them to a steel plate at least half an inch thick. The one I'm building now is 3/4. Then crank down a 5/8 grade 8 bolt till it shears off. Next heat the drum and more oil on the spline. Then beat the crap out of the broken bolt. I might be tempted to move up to a bigger bolt.
