With the beautiful weather over the Christmas break I started the rebuild of my 1974 Boler trailer
Before I parked it for the winter I gutted the interior so it is just a fiberglass shell, yesterday I pulled the fram.

Last summer Craig demonstrated his mastery of welding and installed a new coupler, this is what a weld should look like:

I initially removed the frame becausle the left frame rail is bent and sags abot 1.5" down at the back.
Once the frame is out I discover this ...

I will post updates as I progress, main focus now is building the interior, new floor plan and cabinets

Very sturdy looking! A few lbs of welding wire might be in order...

That's not YOUR garage.

Yikes - looks like they build that frame from 20 ga! The strapping is a "nice" touch. Should I be expecting a phone call?

Been very busy on the Boler project.
A BIG thank you to Craig for his assistance.
Easiest place to follow the progress is in my photo album

New frame is built and under the body.
Interior of the trailer is completely stripped and new interior cabinets are being made

That was fun - glad to see that it fit the egg! How'd it tow?

Tows great much more solid.
I mounted the leveling jacks at the rear, the frame will not flex at all. As one corner is jacked up the other corner also rises and that jack comes off the ground.

Thanks again Craig
