I just got off the phone with Rory, the mechanic I work with out at the collection...

Some of you may have heard about the donation of 100 cars to Olds College by JC Anderson of Calgary.

http://100.oldscollege.ca/JackAndersonAuto

For the past few months volunteers have been cleaning up these cars and getting them running. Rory has volunteered to do some paint correction and trim clean-up on some of the higher-end cars and is looking for some volunteers who want to not only help out, but to learn how to work with paint to improve the look and value of your (classic?) car. He has 12 cars to work on and is hoping to put 6 "teams" together to work 2 Saturdays in June and do 6 cars per Saturday. It looks like June 1 and June 8 will be the days as the cars move into storage June 15. All materials and equipment will be supplied as will instruction.

This is not only an opportunity to learn how to properly tidy up paint, but to volunteer for a worthy cause. Anyone interested please let me know and I will PM you Rory`s contact information.

Me too - I'm just too busy trying to destroy a perfectly good car.

June 1 is no good, could maybe make June 8 work if they're still looking. What's the time frame and rough location?
