Does anyone know of a good supplier in Canada for Volvo 544s. Someone who won't want my firstborn. I need brake parts badly. All aftermarket suppliers have dropped the 544/122 off their lists including VLWorld and IPD who were quite cheap to get to ship up here. I found american suppliers but shipping is almost as much as the parts. Any info would be appreciated.

Heavy brake components...sounds like it would be worth a trip to sweetgrass...

I'm afraid I don't know of what you speak. Do you have the name of the company and maybe even a phone number?

At the Border Storage in Sweetgrass will accept deliveries on your behalf and hold them for you to pick up. Many companies offer free US shipping but as soon as it crosses the border it gets silly. Get organized...order a bunch of stuff and ship it to Sweetgrass then spend a day and go pick it up. Order it from whoever you want...

Actually Derringer Meat Inspection is where it's at now, all the details are in this thread...

Thanks fellas, trying to buy parts in Canada is getting harder and harder even for my 740. Canada online autoparts even stopped carrying Bilstein shocks and struts, so I guess I'll be shopping American now. I find prices are pretty high though for mechanicals and body parts. Wheels, tires and glass are usually pretty reasonable though. Thanks again.

Grab packages and get your meat inspected at the same time.

I have shipped parts through Montana Shipping Outlet in Sweetgrass (also a location in Eureka, MT)
http://www.montanashipping.com/

No hassles going in either direction (even got waved through with 20+ cases of Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke, Cherry Diet 7-Up).
I cleaned out the Albertsons in Great Falls (even have an Albertsons loyalty card which saved even more!0
