Alrighty here's whats up...(bolded is finished)

the parental unit which i live with is going on a vacation cruise deal for about 10 days i think

i would like to use this opportunity to work on my car a bit...with the help of some people who have done these tasks before...if they are around and it's possible for them to come over

here's what i wish to do

E=easy i can do no problem
M=would like some help/ideas
H=need help as i am afraid to fook something up even though i have read how to do it many times

change the PS bracket = E

FINAL stereo install = E/M

Camshaft/cam gear reaplcement = H

figure out how to stop leaking oil out the drain plug = H (no clue why it still does)

wire up fog lights = E

swap my headlights out to the non sealed beam = E

figure out why i cannot use my windshield squirters = H

design a harness bar...maybe install it as well = H

install harness = E cept for the bar

move my oil cooler and/or replace with my rx-7 oil cooler = M/H...need to move it for the new intercooler coming

carpet old trunk lid, swap locking mechanisms, swap lid = E

wire up some interior aux lighting = E

finish porting exhaust manifold and install = M (air die grinder?)

figure out which pump makes noise when at idle, cruise pump or a generic vac pump? i think cruise???

paint some engine stuff = E

install SS brake lines = M (never done a brake fluid flush or changed lines)

SO IF ANYONE HAS TIME OR WANTS TO COME OVER ONE OR MANY EVENINGS TO HELP OUT...CHILL OUT...HANG OUT...CALL ME..PM ME...EMAIL ME...

any help is much appreciated...also if you have tools i would need to use to accomplish a task let me know as well

thanks much guys

ciao

When does the "parental unit" leave (when were you looking at doing this work?)

I have done it all but like the others have many projects on the go, but I may be able to help on one or two of the items in the M-H category.

Second and most important question ... Is your garage heated???

Hey vic, this may interest you for your stereo install, a buddy of mine sent me this link its complete instructions on DIY fibreglassing. I'm probably going to be builing a fibreglass box for my car this summer.

seen that site many moons ago, i have all that info already...thanks though for looking out!!!

the Led's run of the 12 volt, same switch, same location, same everything...just instead of using a bulb i used three LED's...

i will be doing my interior dome setup the same way...it's not hard

and the LED's are single Varad lights, had them in the old car...footwell's etc...they came from int'l stereo way back when they hada close out sale....got htem less than half price which ruled

tonight i'll be home wiring up speakers and doing both amps...so if anyone wants to drop by...gimme a shout

ciao

headlights done - thanks to Dale for picking up the 9003 H4's...with these 4000K silverstar bulbs i put in, they are quite bright, and quite hot looking, they are brighter than my "hi beams" by far...

so Matt, may need to buy those 9003 H4 Hi Beam surrounds from you...

new front door speakers installed...6x9's wired up...amp wires all ready to go...just need to get some carpet tom...

ciao

here's what i finished...

swap my headlights out to the non sealed beam = E

trunk lid, swap locking mechanisms, swap lid = E

wire up some trunk aux lighting = E

installed 6 speakers, 2 amps, one power cap, and a partridge in a pear tree

so not nearly as much as i had planned but i ran into some complications...mainly with the speakers...but it's all good now...

hopefully when it gets warmer on the weekends and stuf i can slowly nibble at the above list

ciao
