I'm trying to put my pictures in my gallery, but it'll take some time. I have more than 400 pictures! Of course, they're not all good or worth to be uploaded, but I have a lot of nice ones, but the pictures I took friday weren't all good, my didn't cancel my last setup and most of them are not good. But I'll have plenty of them for saturday/friday!

I can't wait to see all your pictures and videos!

And I didn't hear any bad news, so I'm happy that everybody arrived home safely! :D

So, do you actually really have any memories of the trip or it was only a dream? I saw you sleeping for most of the trip, unless it was around a beer! :P

Haha, being a passenger is boring, and I do love my beers :)

I'm just glad everything fell into place as planned...

For now, maybe upload them into a folder here and post a link on T'Bricks. That way if someone wants to use one for a video collage or something, at least it's there. If you've got some good hi-res stuff, maybe burn it on a cd for local members?

its an open source cheap alternative to a third party fuel/spark controller.

Basically its a "Do It Yourself" ECU.

It's the fuel injection in Dale's and my cars, along with a few others' on the trip we just took.

In my opinion, the low cost is something that works against it: too many young 'uns buy it up as an alternative to fixing their factory system, but if they can't figure out their factory system I have little hope that they can successfully tune a completely new system. Judging by most of the posts on Turbobricks and several of the posts on www.msefi.com, folks have little to no idea of what's going on.

Cost has nothing to do with it, people buy the 034efi 1700 dollar systems and ask the same questions.

Cost doesn't eliminate the questions, it just allows more people to get into the system to ask the questions. If you've got 5000 systems out there and 25 of them run properly, it doesn't say much for your system. If you spend the $4000 on a Haltec, you'll probably be more likely to spend the $500 on dyno-tuning.

Well, I must say I am quite saddened I wasn't able to make the trip with y'all. Looking at the pictures makes me pretty jealous indeed.
Hopefully next year I can make it, although the August long weekend is traditionally a camping weekend for my family/friends from back home.
Perhaps next year I'll be ripping it in the wagon!

On a brighter note, I was out in Vancouver a week before you guys, visiting some people, and going to a wedding. I got to drive my first 911 which was pretty sweet! After that, I was camping and surfing in Tofino, and down the Oregon coast, and then went back through Nelson. 4500km on the Golf....glad I wasn't in the wagon for that!

Its good to be back and hear how things went. Keep the pics coming. That white 242 looked pretty sweet. And Dale, your car looks amazing! Did you end up waxing it quite a bit to get it to shine like that?

Greg
