my point about the addicted to the internet link is: I don't really have a fucking choice, what else am I going to do?

TV gives me headaches, can't really use tools quite yet, or stand up on my non-broken leg for longer than 45 seconds... I'm kinda stuck at the keyboard for another 8-15 months dude... so, yea, I dunno :-/

Raz, I was trying to point out the fact that a poll on google like that is a joke, in my opinion, not about you recovering from an accident

ciao

MOST of the horses in stampede are pretty well kept. I have heard horror stories - and I'm sure that if the stampede officials ever came out to this certain person's farm, his horses would not be welcome back....(minis...so not rodeo horses guys)

Raz, I'm with ya on hating of stampede, but for different reasons. I just can't stand all the people...too many people!

yes I am still alive... 8)

had 3 pages of "show new posts", read some of them, love the trailer Ian!

so what's up? Still working oilfield, this winter was crazy busy. Bought a 2011 Chev 2500HD Duramax this week, still keeping my other truck for now but might sell it if the right buyer come along, or just keep it for personal use.

Went to California and Vegas so far this year, some pretty cool happenings there...anyway, I'll try to check this once a week, thats my goal right now, try to keep up a lot better than I have been.

Hope everyone is doing great and we can get a BP's or other place casual have a beer meet again sometime soon.

Cheers

Near three years after my last post in this thread...I am still alive.

How's everyone doing?

I drove by Bert and Jacks couple days ago, place was shut down, any info? Did Paulo move?

Few new notable things...I moved out to Cochrane last year, still have my Blue Peacock, haven't had it running in two years though, I have progressed through positions at work quite a bit, having just accepted a new position downtown full time now, 4th change in position in 4 years. Sold my diesel's, the 05 and 11 duramaxes are out, picked up a 14 1500 gas job, doesn't seem too bad so far, way better fuel milage that's forsure and I can fit in a parkade, crazy scary that was driving in there for the first time.

Anyway, I'll try to catch up on the going's on around these parts, hoping to get the 764 running again this summer, it's in a little rougher shape than the last time everyone saw it, but literally has been driven about 800km since 2008.

Cheers Gents

Good to know you're still alive Vicky. Yeah, Bert & Jacks closed down, nobody's heard from Paul recently but word from the VW forum is that he's trying to open up again in another location. It's a shame, he poured a bunch of money into the place to get back up and running after the flood, my guess is that the city told him that it wasn't safe enough and to pack up.

That's too bad. My sister still took her 850 there for work, tire changes etc.

Cheers
