Hum... More likely to catch you at Lake Louise, but I'll see.

And now, I have to plan where I'll sleep. I don't mind sleeping in my car, but if one one you have a motel room or something like that, I'll probably bug you to borrow your shower!

Well us old folks can also sleep in the car, the difference is that in the morning we cannot move ... picture a stale pretzel here ....

What are the plans for accommodations in Vancouver??

Well...John has a sizeable back yard but not a huge house. He's got a spare room in the basement that usually has my name hanging on the door. There is floor space as well so if you bring a foam or air mattress along, you should be able to find some room. I'm not sure what Leivon has for space but he's offered some accomodations. I think the plan right now is to head to his place for the evening...pool party and relaxation. I guess it wouldn't hurt to PM him and see exactly what his situation is...I'll do that...

Thanks Dale

I have no problem sleeping on a floor, my challenge is the limited space in my car (yes I know, wagons rule). Sleeping bags and foamies are easy, start adding tents, etc .... a roof rack would just spoil the whole image.

Just trying to firm up some plans and possibly work out some accommodations for some of the guys. What's your situation? Room? Beds? Couches? Floor space? I think the initial plan is to head to your place Friday night for some pool time and meet & greet, if that's still ok with you. Then some of us would head back to John's for the night. Others would push on into Vancouver where they'll be staying and some would stay put. I would trust any one of the Calgary guys with the keys to my house so no need for concern that way. The younger guys are absolutely the greates bunch of young guys I've had the pleasure to hang out with. They're respectful. They don't smoke. They rarely swear. Just good kids...

Let me know if you want us to pitch a little in for snacks or something. We can likely stop and pick up a beer or something but we won't be rolling in until 5 or 6 local time so not a lot of time to go shopping. What time were you thinking we'd get together. I wonder if we should plan to order in some pizzas. Then we wouldn't need to worry about grabbing dinner beforehand...

Thanks,

Accomodations here are as follows... I have two beds 3 couches and tons of floor space for people. If everyone brings some sort of sleeping bag or something there is no doubt in my mind that i can take in as many people as you have to throw at me.

It is still very ok that friday night is spent here. I can do some shopping the day before and pickup any type of snacks or whatever, and i think pizza would be a cool idea as well.

I wasn't worried about any of the guys staying the night, but thanks for the reassurance. Non smokers and they rarely swear?.. hmmm so i should probably tone my lifestyle down for the weekend.

Depending on how many people will be here i don't think chipping in for snacks will be necessary.

About the dinner... If you had my number and when you were close i could just order the pizzas and by the time you guys arrived they would be hot and ready to eat. Just a thought.

Thanks,
Leivon

There you have it folks...lotsa room...no worries...

No, it sucks... I've been had...

I worked Sunday to Friday... "We have to offer the same service than before, but the technicians get paid for overtime, as we don't want to raise the cost, you "should" (yeah right, just should...) come to cover for the daily stuff."

Get who's looking for a new job right now? I can't believe it. Everytime that there's something wrong at that place, things seems to get a bit better with time. Then, everything get even worse...

No wonder that there was a 100% turnover in the engineering department...
